The governor of Nuevo León said that for now the access works for the electric car manufacturer, which will be located in Santa Catarina, are already open.
Monterrey, Nuevo León.- Tesla could be starting the construction of the Gigafactory, planned in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León in the first quarter of this year, said the state governor, Samuel García.
In an interview, on January 8th, the head of the state executive spoke about the issue of the installation of the Gigaplant, as well as the access works being carried out by the state.
He added that the access works by the state government began in December and will begin to be noticed in January and February.
Samuel García ruled out that electoral issues will delay the start of construction of the electric car assembly plant in the municipality of Santa Catarina.
