The governor-elect of Nuevo León, Samuel García Sepúlveda, began a three-day tour of Texas on Tuesday, July 13, where he will meet with Judges Andy Brown of Travis County and Judge Rubén Becerra of Hays County, and this Wednesday, July 14 will talk with the governor of the state, Greg Abbott, indicated in a message on his social networks.

“Today we are going to visit two very important judges, Judge Andy Brown and Judge Rubén Becerra who have in this state a very important power, almost vice governors, with whom we are going to talk about legal issues that concern both governments.” García Sepúlveda expressed.

After the meeting with Judge Andy Brown, the governor-elect agreed that the state will receive the donation of medical supplies: syringes, mouth covers, gloves, and other medical equipment.

“Wednesday, July 14 is the most important day, we are going to visit Governor Greg Abbott, Austin Mayor Steve Adler. We are going to San Antonio to talk with the secretaries of the state, the transportation department, and the economic department.

“And we are going to the Nadbank (North American Development Bank) to lower resources and once and for all build the La Gloria-Colombia highway, among many other projects,” the president-elect reported.

On the other hand, he stressed that he will open a representative office in Nuevo León, in Austin, Texas, which will be key to having a very strong relationship with this United States government.

“This office will have to help our compatriots, the Neolonese, of whom there are thousands here, migration, legal, tax, border, the crossing of cargo goods and obviously, in the administration, we are very focused on energy, climate change, and the air pollution”, emphasized Samuel García.

He was optimistic that Colombia Customs will soon be able to compete with others and will be a great power for Nuevo León.
