The 2021 state elections of Nuevo León are held today, Sunday, June 6, 2021, and the following popularly elected positions in the Mexican state will be renewed:
Governor of Nuevo León: Head of the Executive Power of the state, elected for a period of six years, not re-eligible in any case.
42 State Representatives: 42 state deputies are elected – 26 by direct vote and 16 by proportional representation.
51 City Councils: Made up of a Municipal President and council members who make up the municipal council, elected for a period of three years, they can be reelected consecutively.
