This is the most important strategic event in the sector in Mexico. With the participation of more than 460 exhibitors and a renewed focus on social inclusion and technological innovation, the event is expected to bring together 15,000 professionals at Cintermex to strengthen the economy.
The 30th edition of Expo Manufactura will take place from February 3 to 5 at Cintermex, solidifying Nuevo León’s position as a benchmark for the manufacturing industry through business networking and professional development opportunities.
At a press conference, Claudia Valdés, director of Expo Manufactura, highlighted the historical and strategic importance of the event, as well as its role within the national economy.
“Talking about manufacturing in our country isn’t just talking about another sector; it’s talking about the productive heart of the national economy, which generates employment, investment, drives exports, and connects Mexico with the main value chains in North America and the rest of the world,” she stated.
The director reported that Expo Manufactura will feature 26,000 square meters of exhibition space, the participation of more than 460 national and international exhibitors, and an estimated attendance of around 15,000 industry professionals.
She also noted that the event will include a program of conferences, panels, and success stories, presented by industry specialists, as part of OMI (Onsite Manufacturing Intelligence), which will be free for attendees.
Valdés added that, for the second consecutive year, Expo Manufactura Job will be held, a space for job placement and networking active throughout the year, in addition to the robotics competition, which will celebrate its fourth edition with the collaboration of Universal Robots, Festo, and Schunk. Business meetings organized by Caintra and the Industrial Leaders Club (ILC) will also take place.
Furthermore, Carlos Serna Gámez, Undersecretary of Economic Development for the Nuevo León Ministry of Economy, acknowledged the event’s history and its impact on the state’s economy.
“We are thrilled to welcome the 30th edition of an event that, year after year, has positioned and will continue to position Nuevo León as the economic and industrial engine of the country,” he stated.
Serna Gámez mentioned that, during the current state administration, $116 billion in investment has been received, a significant portion of which corresponds to the manufacturing sector, which employs more than 30,000 people in the state. He also highlighted the presence of exhibitors from the United States, China, and other countries, which reinforces Nuevo León’s position as a strategic region for global trade and industry.
“Expo Manufactura reflects the synergy between Mexican companies, international companies, business chambers, government, and organizers, and is a clear example of why Nuevo León continues to be an industrial leader in the country and the region,” he affirmed.

This year’s Expo Manufactura will include the participation of the Ministry of Equality and Inclusion, headed by Martha Herrera. The agency will support the event with an accessibility strategy, including staff training, inclusive signage, and even a Mexican Sign Language interpreter.
“Inclusion, talent, and competitiveness go hand in hand; the inclusion of priority groups in an industrial event generates value in two ways: first, it expands the talent pool, which is very important to us, strengthens innovation, and improves competitiveness for individuals; it opens doors to STEM careers, which we have been promoting through robotics projects with Caintra and other companies here in Nuevo León, and we have been opening new aspirations, new career paths, and new opportunities for everyone without exception.”
“Especially for women in the manufacturing industry, and with that same spirit, Expo Manufactura is also joining this Event with a Cause, where we will be promoting the Zero Hunger strategy so that more companies can join the more than 200 companies that are already part of it,” the secretary stated.
Finally, an invitation was extended to SMEs, business owners, entrepreneurs, and the general public to register and attend Expo Manufactura, highlighting that the event continues to strengthen the industrial and productive ecosystem of Nuevo León.
