Alaska Airlines is launching two new international routes from Los Angeles to Mexico this winter season. The airline will offer nonstop flights between LAX and La Paz, which will be the only US carrier to do so, as well as daily nonstop service to Monterrey. This expansion marks a significant milestone for Alaska Airlines, which has been serving Mexico for 35 years. The new routes cater to travelers seeking warm-weather destinations during the winter months.
La Paz is located on the Baja California Peninsula and offers world-class diving and sport fishing opportunities. Alaska Airlines will operate flights to La Paz year-round with service up to three times weekly. Monterrey is the second-largest metropolitan area in Mexico, known for its vibrant city experience, dramatic mountain ranges, and rich history. The airline will offer daily nonstop flights between LAX and MTY.

Our new nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to La Paz (LAP) and Mount Pleasant (MTY) in Belize offers seamless connections from cities across our network.
