MAZATLAN. – The Ministry of Tourism took the best of Sinaloa to Monterrey, Nuevo León, parties, royalty, attractions and gastronomy, seeking the attention of the regios for their future vacations.
Secretary Estrella Palacios Domínguez mentioned that this is part of the promotional campaign “Tasting Sinaloa” that is presented to travel agents to offer Sinaloa as a vacation destination that has both the sea and mountains.
“In Sinaloa we need allies like you, to help us sell our tourist destinations; I thank you in advance for doing so, with all the security and peace of mind that your clients will have the best vacations and tourist experiences, because we are a wonderful State”.
Palacios Domínguez pointed out that the intention of the program is to stimulate the tourist diversity that exists in the state, its connectivity, especially with Monterrey in its three airports, as well as the integration of routes to Sinaloa through travel agencies.
“We are experiencing a great moment in terms of tourism, we have increased our air connectivity; we have investment projects with the construction of 15 hotels; creation of new tourist products, and upcoming events of international stature”, she indicated.
“Savoring Sinaloa”, reported Sectur, has the objective of training and having a pleasant experience with travel agents from other states, where activities, attractions, gastronomy, history, geographical location and events of Sinaloa are promoted.
The state official added that the presentation is the opportunity to publicize the news and all the offer of tourist destinations; as well as its three great poles of development that are: Mazatlán, Culiacán and Los Mochis, and the five Magical Towns: El Fuerte, Mocorito, Cosalá, San Ignacio and El Rosario.
Municipal authorities of tourist destinations, hoteliers, restaurants, associations and businessmen also participated in the presentation, who presented to approximately 150 agents.
With this there are four presentations, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua capital and Mexico City, where around 500 agents have participated in total, and the fifth presentation will soon be made in León, Guanajuato.
