Maria Fernanda Sanchez Castaneda, a student at Tecnológico de Monterrey disappeared in Berlin Germany, on July 22, since then her family has not heard from her.

The 24-year-old lived in an apartment in Büchnerweg and traveled to the country to pursue her master’s degree. The last thing that was heard from her was that she had planned to attend an LGBTIQ+ Pride party with her friends and classmates the day she disappeared from her; however, she canceled because she was feeling tired, according to them.

The last communication they had with her was on Saturday, later they no longer heard from María Fernanda Sánchez. Her friends in Berlin tried to contact her on Sunday without an answer and on Monday they went to her apartment in the morning, located in the Neon Wood, when they arrived they realized that she was not there, despite the fact that all her belongings were in the place. So they reported it to the police and the owners of the residence where the Tec student lived contacted her parents, who decided to travel to Germany. This Tuesday they will arrive in Berlin and on July 26 they will meet with the police of that city.

The Embassy of Mexico in Germany has already contacted the parents of the Tec student and shared a search form so that anyone who knows something can share information.
