López-Gatell assured that in Mexico the use of any vaccine that does not demonstrate good quality, safety, and efficacy will not be approved, in accordance with current law.

“In all cases, Mexican law, Mexican regulations require the majority in the world, that all products used in the country, not only vaccines, must show quality, safety and efficacy, this is inescapable and is for all vaccines and pharmaceutical products.

“No vaccine can be used in the country if it does not demonstrate these attributes in the standard way that is known in the world,” he said.
