State Celebrates Christmas with the Installation of a Santa Claus Village
The 2025 Mega Christmas celebration has been launched to mark the holiday season in Nuevo León with amusement rides, Santa Claus, villages, and other amenities for the whole family.
The state government inaugurated the event at the Explanada de los Héroes (Esplanade of the Heroes), where a Ferris wheel, a carousel, a train, and other free attractions have been set up for everyone.
Children can meet Santa Claus to give him their letters to receive their desired toy on December 25th. They can also participate in various activities to enjoy a pleasant afternoon with their loved ones.
As part of the activities, children can become Santa’s guardians and receive a surprise by completing missions in the games. Those who complete missions will receive a stamp, and upon collecting five stamps, they must go to the village to receive their award.
Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda attended the inauguration, accompanied by his wife Mariana Rodríguez and their two daughters, Mariel and Isabel. He delivered a Christmas message to all the families of the state.
Where is the Macronavidad (Mega-Christmas)?
The government confirmed this year’s event will once again be held at the Explanada de los Héroes (Heroes’ Esplanade) in the Macroplaza, so that everyone has the opportunity to come and enjoy a time of fellowship and recreation.
The 2025 Macronavidad will begin on Sunday, December 7th and will be available until January 6th, allowing the public to enjoy the festivities leading up to Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Three Kings’ Day.
It was specified that admission is completely free for everyone who wishes to come and enjoy a day with their loved ones and take advantage of the holiday season.
Meganavidad 2025: Dates and Times
The hours from Monday to Thursday will be from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Weekends from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on December 24th and 31st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The 2025 Super Christmas will feature a Christmas train for children, as well as a Ferris wheel for adults. Santa’s house will also be there, along with a workshop and office for Santa’s red suit, and a carousel.
