What are the requirements to process the visa without an interview?
The visa to be renewed must have been issued in the same country from which it is being requested and must be valid or have expired in the last 48 months.
That the applicant completes the application in his or her country of nationality or residence.
That he or she has never been denied a visa, unless said denial has been waived or overcome.
Not have any apparent or potential ineligibility.
If the 10 fingerprints were taken at the time the last visa was issued.
If the previous visa was not lost, stolen or revoked.
Steps to renew your American visa
Complete the DS-160 form; it is important that you save the sheet and your confirmation folio once you finish filling it out.
Enter the Official Mexican Visa Appointment Site and select the “apply” button.
Choose the option “I am a Mexican citizen who has completed the Nonimmigrant Visa Application Form (DS-160), and I wish to apply for a visa.”
Then enter the information requested by the portal and enter the confirmation number of the DS-160 form. Make the payment for the renewal of your United States visa, which costs 185 dollars, equivalent to 3,661.51 pesos.
Schedule an appointment at the “Applicant Service Center (CAS)” to have your biometric data taken.
Show up for your appointment at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Bring your valid passport to travel to the United States, which must be valid for six months after the date you intend to enter the country.
