Mexico is losing its international presence due to AMLO’s lack of vision

As has become customary in the administration of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Mexico avoids participating in international organizations and groups, losing its international presence.

It turns out that the Secretary of Economy Raquel Buenrostro did not attend the meeting held last week by the #G20 Trade and Investment Ministers in Jaipur, India. Now the Secretary of Economy, she will lose the opportunity to see her counterparts: the American Katherine Tai and the Canadian Mary Ng.

Logically, both officials will take advantage of the event to discuss various issues, including the controversial panel that #United States initiated against #Mexico for the decision to reduce the use of transgenic corn.

It is unfair that Mexico misses the opportunity of doing business with more advanced economies, and is involved in international controversy due to the lack of vision and short criteria of a president who acts more like a dictator.
