With the publication of a “meme”, the governor of Nuevo León, Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, “scolded” the young people who missed their opportunity to be vaccinated against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, because in his municipality there was no dose of the pharmaceutical they preferred.

“I have found out that there are many young people who did not go to be vaccinated because in their municipality they were not applying doses of the brand they wanted; and that now, due to this, they have not being vaccinated, this means we are behind schedule in the vaccination dates, “said the state governor on his social networks.

He asked them to “take the example of their grandparents and parents, who – regardless of what vaccine was – attended in due time to get vaccinated.” “El Bronco” added that the third wave of infections is a reality, “and it is our responsibility to get vaccinated to reduce infections.

The governor accompanied his message with a “meme” where the phrase stands out: “All authorized covid-19 vaccines are effective”, and the drawings of a young man with his eyes running down crying appear, who dialogues with an adult, before whom he regrets: “If I do not get the Pfizer vaccine, I am not going to get vaccinated.” While another character responds: “I have already been vaccinated with AstraZeneca, which was the one available for me. Now it is time to continue applying health measures.”

Nuevo León ranks third in infections and deaths in the country, only surpassed by Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
